Information Collection and Use
Just like our non-profits and their donors, guests, and workers, We, too, value personal privacy. To that end, we collect and use information throughout our website only as disclosed in this privacy statement. This statement applies solely to information collected on this website.
a. Information You Provide: If you open an account, make a purchase, donate to a charity, take part in an auction or other offer, or otherwise communicate with us via the Site or Services, we collect the information you submit. To register to use the Services, you may be asked to provide personal data, such as name, email address, postal address, telephone number, or other similar information. You do not have to provide this data. But without it you may not be able to create an account or enter into transactions via the Site or Services.
b. Information You Post: If you post information on public areas of the Services, that information may be collected and used by us, by other users of the Services, and by the public generally. We suggest you avoid posting personal data in such areas.
c. Other Information: Your interactions with us may also include the following types of data:
i. If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.
ii. We may also ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them.

Information Collection
Voices Against Cancer is the sole owner of information collected on www.voicesagainstcancer.org by Voices Against Cancer. We may collect information from you in several different places on our website. We treat all collected information with complete confidentiality.
At certain places on this website, you must complete registration requirements in order to receive information about our products and services. We will ask for relevant contact information (such as name, company, telephone, and email address). We will use this information to contact you regarding products and services for which you have expressed interest. We do not require that you submit credit card information or a social security number in association with the use of this website or during any form of registration.
Information Use

Who We Share With
The information we collect is never shared with other organizations for commercial use.

b. Law Enforcement and Protection of Users. d. Charities You Choose to Support via the Site or Services. We may share your information with a Charity or Charities to whom you have made a voluntary donation via the Site or Services.
Cookies
This site collects cookies.[1] We use cookies for the convenience of our users. This includes to facilitate the filling out of various web forms. After completing a form, a cookie is set saving your information (indicated above) which then pre-populates the relevant sections of other forms you may be asked to complete on our website. We also utilize cookies for password protected sections of our website. By placing a cookie on our website, users will not be required to input information on repeated visits.
Cookies are collected as part of our effort to generate log summaries and measure traffic to www.voicesagainstcancer.org. Our reports are general and do not use cookies to monitor a user’s specific experience on our website.
Choice/Opt-out
When filling out a registration form of any kind, you will have the ability to ‘opt-out’ of having your information used for purposes not directly related to our site. For example, our registration form has an ‘opt-out’ mechanism to allow information to be sent via mail instead of sending it electronically. Should you no longer wish to receive our newsletter and promotional communications, you may use the opt-out link in our email or contact us at corey@voicesagainstcancer.org.

Generally, we rely on the following standards to process your personal information lawfully:

For example, when you make a purchase or a donation, we provide your billing information to a third-party payment processing vendor so that your transaction can be completed, and also to the charity you are supporting for the charity to acknowledge any gift for tax purposes.
c. Legitimate interests. We may process your personal data where necessary to fulfill our legitimate interests, where those interests are not overridden by your rights or interests. These legitimate interests may include:
· Completing transactions for our users, and handling user contacts, queries, complaints or disputes.

· Promoting, marketing and advertising our products and services in ways consistent with reasonable expectations of our users.
· Sending promotional communications to existing users which are relevant to such users and related to their prior use of our Site and Services.

We take every relevant precaution to protect your information. All of our visitors’ information is restricted in our offices or data center. Only employees who need access to the information to perform a specific job (i.e. sales, inside sales, or marketing), will be able to utilize this information. Additionally, all employees are kept informed of our security and privacy policies. If we decide to make changes to our privacy statement, all changes will be posted on this privacy statement. Please be aware that no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, the Company cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit on or through the Site or Services and you do so at your own risk.
Givitron Text Benefactors
Givitron Text Benefactors is a keyword SMS service for non-profit organizations to raise money from donors by leveraging the phones already in their hand. In response to a keyword sent to our short code, the service sends the donor one message with a URL which they can follow to the organizations customized donation form. Message and data rates apply. Verizon? is not liable for undelivered or delayed messages.
NON-U.S. USERS
If you are located outside of the United States and you choose to use the Site or Services, or provide your information to us, your information will be transferred to, processed and maintained on servers or databases located in the United States. If you do not want your information transferred to or processed or maintained in the United States, you should not use the Site or Services.
YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES
